A Linux Foundation Project

Specifications

OpenPOWER Foundation specifications are publicly available, royalty-free standards that define the POWER architecture ecosystem — from the instruction set through platform interfaces.

POWER Instruction Set Architecture

The POWER ISA is the foundational specification for all OpenPOWER-compliant processors. It is maintained by the OpenPOWER Foundation and published as an open standard.
